What's hidden so carefully inside this spectacular acrylic display case?

Imagination, development and production

Behind a simple solution are hours of imagination, development and production. This is true of the showcase we designed and built at Toni Seguí to present a limited charitable edition of the legendary Cartier 'Love' bracelet. Sometimes the simplest things require the most effort.

Simple, elegant with pure and refined lines

For those of you who are not familiar with this collection, 'Love' by Cartier is one of the brand's greatest revelations.  Created in the 1970s, its curves encapsulate all forms of love, liberated from convention. With this collection, the brand created a new language for love that is still alive today. ‘Love’ embraces the concept of modern passion, completely liberated, and exudes the strength, dynamism and vitality of emotion. Since then, the LOVE symbol has become legendary.

The graphics, the oval shape and the unmistakable elegance have turned this collection into a timeless symbol of passionate love. The bracelet is available in diamonds, yellow gold or rose gold.

The challenge

Going back to our event and the showcase we created, let us explain the challenge set for the team at Toni Seguí. Cartier presented the 'Love' bracelet at an event, and part of the proceeds were to be donated to various charities according to the colour of the bracelet: red for AIDS, orange for Down's syndrome, etc. As the bracelet is so small, the challenge was to present all the colours of each organisation and the respective celebrities who lent their image to this good cause. The event took place in a beautiful modernist apartment in the Casa Lleó i Morera on Passeig de Gràcia.

Our proposal was to dedicate each room to a colour, with a large photograph of a celebrity, period furniture upholstered in the corresponding colour and a display stand of our own design for the 'Love' bracelet. The stand consisted of an acrylic column in the colour of each bracelet. Inside the display case, a very thin steel cable crossed it from corner to corner, which made the bracelet appear to float. We added a velvet cushion underneath the bracelet as a finishing touch.

It was a wonderful evening attended by VIPs, and a great success for the production and creativity of Toni Seguí.
