Launch of the First Sarkany Boutique in Barcelona

At Toni Seguí Barcelona, we had the pleasure of organising the inauguration of the Sarkany shoe boutique on Wednesday 17 May. Sarkany is a beautiful shoe brand created by the world-famous Argentinean businessman and designer, Ricky Sarkany.

This is the brand's first European store, located on the Barcelona's prestigious Avenida Diagonal. The presence of almost all the Barça players at the inauguration lunch caused a frenzy of press coverage. It was a superb launch event and we are very pleased with the result.

Antonella Roccuzzo and Sofia Balbi – the fiancée and wife of FC Barcelona players Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez respectively – opened the first Sarkany boutique in Barcelona on Wednesday 17 May.

The two partners, Antonella and Sofia, attended the event, along with Messi and Luis Suárez, accompanied by Cesc Fàbregas and Daniella Semaan. Other players from FC Barcelona, as well as other Spanish personalities, also attended the event.

The opening of the new Sarkany boutique in Barcelona adds to the more than 52 exclusive Sarkany points of sale and more than 50 multi-brand points of sale in the main cities of Argentina. After leading the Latin American footwear market, Sarkany is now looking to expand its business in Europe.
